Ref, Orange County CA

Found this forum and I am interested in what kind of feedback I will get.

I moved from Missouri to Southern California, Orange County....Irvine to be exact... a couple of years ago. I used to referee alot of games in High School and College. Mostly Kids leagues but some lower level HS and AAU ball as well. I used to always know the people who needed refs and work was easy to find. That hasn't been the case out here.

Backround on me...I played in High School as well as "a little" in college and have been in the gym since I was old enough to hold a ball. My father officiated alot of big HS games in MO until his legs gave out on him. I'm interested in starting out small and maybe working myself into some camps this summer to try and get some bigger games this time next year. Would anyone out there have any information for me as where to get started? Contact info, websites, parks and rec offices, etc...?
