I partially blew out a shoe last night. I have worn New Balance for a few years, but would like to make the switch to patent leather.

I have a game on the 27th, so time is a factor. I prefer the Reebok shoe, but BTL, and Honigs are out of my size. I found the new Spot-Bilt shoe at Honigs.

Any owners of this shoe out there? I need a review? Or maybe another place with quick service that I may be able to find the Reebok shoe at?????

I will tell what I think in a week. I just purchased the shoes yesterday.

Peace

Spot Bilt patent leather shoe

Great shoe, light weight and comfortable. Call Get Official or go online, and check to see if they have your size. They have great customer service and will ship the same day if the item is in stock.

I have had the Spot-Bilt for a month and love it. I also wear the Reebok but decided to get the Spot-Bilt and try them out. I would suggest either shoe to anyone interested in patent. After reading TA's post, I too have put my own brand of insoles in both the Reebok and the Spot-Bilt.

Assuming they fit your feet OK, and the upper is comfortable, I'd recommend you replacing the insoles with insoles designed for your foot (pronation factor, high/low arch, etc.). Nothing against SB/Saucony, as I ran in those shoes for a while, but insoles will make a decent shoe outstanding.

I use Sof Sole brand. I put these in my Reeboks and the cushioning is every bit as good as in my Mizuno running shoes.
