Packer says, "Now this is an interesting call, one offical has a travel and one has a foul, and the foul overrules the travel." or something to that effect. THe interesting thing was, the C official never made a signal, so how did Packer know what he had. From what I saw, and C was the one in the view of the camera, C appeared as though he was about to signal a block as well. The call itself was made by the T.

Packer is an idiot.

Glad to hear other officials that can't stand Billy Packer. I am sick of his officiating and constantly criticizing the officials and glorifying the "student athletes" and coaches like they are gods. Can't stand to listen to his games.

At least DV doesn't take himself very seriously. Packer actually thinks he's insightful.

I can take large doses of DV. He is mostly fluff, but he does NOT make the numerous ignorant comments Packer makes...

It's amazing to me that coaches put up with him. He glorifies a few of them, but so often he's second guessing what the coach "ought" to be doing. It's laughable when he says coach shouldn't be doing thus-and-so and before he even finished his sentence, they hit a 3-pointer, steal the opponents inbounds pass and hit another 3-pointer all within about 4 seconds.

"That coach really gave them a talking-to at half-time. Just look at the energy they're putting into their whole game." (As the players throw up miss after miss after miss).

"Boy, Kentucky is just going to kill everybody this year, this is their year. THey've got X number of starters returning and then they've got Whozits with a 98% shooting averate, and they're just going after everyone with such gusto. I don't think NC has a chance against them this year." Kentucky lost this one by a very solid margin.
