I just heard the a Seattle referee, Harley Graham, died on the court Saturday of an apparent heart attack.

I do not have any other information on it but as fellow officials, I thought I would get the word out so we can pray for his family.

Thanks.

May he rest in peace. My prayers will be with him and his family.

Our sympathy goes out to Harley's family and friends.

For those who did not know Harley...he played for Utah State. For the past 30 years he played hoops at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle and officiated HS Basketball. Well known in the area as a leader in the community and on the court.

He passed away doing was he loved to do.
The game of basketball will miss Harley Graham.

I had just worked some rec. games with Harley on wed. night before his saturday game in which he collapsed and didn't recover. I always enjoyed working with him though I only got the chance during men's rec. as he refused to do high school ball. "Too much politics" was the reason he stuck with rec. and AAU on weekends. It's tragic when this happens to anyone but especially so when it happens to a good guy like Harley. Very, very sad situation and he'll truly be missed. Makes you reflect upon how fleeting and uncertain life can be. CT.....
