I saw that shirt on their site and I'm wondering as well. I don't need any new shirts this year, but I may pick up one or two anyway unless there are some people that just don't like them.

Is it like the OC's "MicroSofter"?

Sorry imaref, I enjoyed T-Day without the computer :-)
Not having a OC shirt I can't compare, but its pretty soft compared to the Honigs micromesh that I have. I have an XL and I was surprised when I tried it on how small the neckhole was, I had to put the hanger in from the bottom. Maybe it's my head getting larger I dunno?!?! :-) but it looks better in the neck area afterward. A far as the colors goes I'm a bit disappointed, it's not nearly as crisp and white as my McDavid. But it fits and feels great otherwise. Edit: I tried it on again this time with my black underarmor shirt and the colors are alot better now. [Edited by eyezen on Nov 25th, 2005 at 01:16 PM] |

Thanks for the update Eyezen....
....the OC shirt is really soft and it sounds like the feel is compatable, but I'm more interested in whether the Honig shirt material looks like a "micromesh"? According to the GM at Honig's, he says the OC material really isn't a mesh..just looks like it. (The little meshlike holes in the material don't go through the material and light does not come through. The material tends to "breathe" better.) I presume the Honig shirt accomplishes the same effect. Yes?

Compared to my Honigs micromesh shirt the "holes" if you will are closed at least to the naked eye, on my old micromesh the "holes" go all the way.
It looks like there is 3-4 tiny cross threads. I dunno if I'm explaining right or not. I don't have a OC shirt to compare but I think its what you're looking for. |

I have to say that I am disappointed with my Honig's ProSoft shirt. Like Eyezen stated the color of the white is very dull, it is offwhite instead of WHITE. My micromesh looks better, even though the ProSoft has a much tighter mesh. I also didn't like the fact that I could not get the wrinkles out of it, no matter what trick I tried. I personally will not even be using it in a game, it will be in the bag as a third shirt if needed. Unfortunately I do not have a OC shirt to compare it against, though I am remedying that on Monday.
