OK....OK....

A dumb question, but appropriate after Thanksgiving.

For those who wear the "flexbelt"....how is it supposed to be worn? Do you wear it around the waist 'under' your ref shirt, or around the waist 'above' the shirt?

I'm beginning to imagine the types of responses this Q is going to get!

Over the shirt, to keep your slacks up and your shirt in.

Hey BBRef....

You haven't ever experienced the flexbelt working its way out above the waist-top of your slacks, have you?

SeanFitzRef Fri Nov 25, 2005 12:29pm

Depends on which belt.

The rubber belt will from time to time, but the velcro belt has been pretty solid to date.

Nope. No problem at all. It's pretty handy, especially with pleated pants that aren't as tight in the waist as the non-pleated.

However, it will eventually break. :(

By the way, don't forget to wear the bristled side out, other wise it hurts.

CK....good one!

I thought those "nubbies" were placed on the flexbelt as a massaging ("belly scratchin'") component!

Thanks for the info....everyone.

peace

Agree. I started off using the rubber belt and a few times it came out. Switched to the black velcro belt last year and haven't had a problem yet.

tjones1....

Is this black velcro belt called the "Ultimate-Belt" from Honig's? Think I'll give it a try.

Thanks again for all the input!

Does the black belt do anything for keeping up pants? That's the main reason I liked the rubber belt.

Yes that is correct, the B31.

It helps a little, however that's not it's main purpose.

Tried the rubber belt one time and hated it. Decided to just tuck the shirt & T-shirt into the compression shorts. Works fine.

mick Fri Nov 25, 2005 08:43pm

I've worn the rubber flex belt while fat, and while not so fat.
Fat will roll a rubber flex belt. Not so fat works much better.
Must be why BktBallRef doesn't know about that possible problem.

I wear the shirt straps. It attaches to the bottom of the shirt and the top of the socks. Keep the socks up and shirt down.
