I have a situation for you: A43 is dribbling down the floor and lost control. The ball is headed towards sideline. B23 trys to get the ball before A43 can get the ball back. A43 pushes off on B23 while trying to get to the ball before it goes OB. Both teams are in the bonus. Do you shoot FT's or does Team B get the ball OB.

Team control does not end because player control ended. It still exists. Therefore, this is a team control foul and no FTs are shot.

Thanks BB REF!! I had to make sure I told this coach correctly. I had this happen last night but of course he did not understand that control is still with team A until team B secures the ball. I feel alot better now.

This, among other things, is one of the reasons why I dont think the new team control change is a good one. I agree this is team control, obviously. But I like 1 and 1 in this situation. But hey, I'm not on the rules committee. :)

I like it better this way, Team A has the Ball, Team A commits foul, Team B gets ball no shots!! If you give them shots, it seems like you are giving to much of a penalty...give them the ball and let them create their own shot!
