It appears that because of the “point of emphasis” on intentional personal fouls that we as refs may have to reiterate or explain the rule at the beginning of the season for the volunteer coaches at grade school level. Hopefully JV and Varsity coaches get it.

I see intentional personal fouls in plenty of lower grade school games at the end of regulation time when the coach wants to stop the clock. The player does a bear hug to get the foul. So now we must be more diligent and call the intentional foul in these situations.

So just to be sure I got it right… In this situation after player A is intentionally fouled, you clear the lane, player A shoots two and then Team A gets the ball OOB nearest to where the foul occurred. You only do OOB at half court if it is a technical foul. Correct?
