Monday starts my season after a couple of weeks off to regroup after soccer and volleyball. Got my new jacket, new pants, new shoes, and new black undershirts. Am I ready to go or what?

Ruh Ro Shaggy! Let me guess. You wear a belt so that you can take it off and whip the first coach that gets out of hand.

No, actually I just don't like beltless pants. The belt also has this nice habit of holding my pants up and looks better than my Christmas suspenders! But the idea about using it the way you suggested is interesting. I might even use it to whip my partner(s) into shape during a game.

I once thought the same thing about a belt holding up the pants. I switched to pleats a few years ago and it feels great running without that tight belt wrapped around your waist.

Make the switch, you will NEVER go back.

I fully agree with that statement

I had a problem of the pleated/beltless not wanting to stay up well...they didn't fit as snug as the beltless non-pleated pants. I added flex belt (http://www.honigs.com/detail.asp?Cat=1&Sub=7&Item=135) and the problem was solved.

I think the black flex belt is even better. The best thing since under armour.
