There's a GREAT book out and available from Referee Magazine/NASO.

It also is available from "Between The Lines" Official'a Gear. http://www.btlofficialsgear.com/Onli...category=20016

I have this manual and it has been the "Reference of Choice" in several "3-Person Mechanics" Clinics I have attended.

Good luck....enjoy your seasons!

I am a HS official from South Jersey and also an intramural sports director. You can go to our officials website for training materials.

Also...I ordered the IAABO Ecourt trainings software and it is excellent (where you can do 2 or 3 person mechanics, shows areas of coverage, lines of responsibility, FT mechanics, etc.). You just have to learn how to move all 10 players, and officials.

I know that the Louisiana High School Association is very helpful as well as the IHSAA

The Louisiana 3-person mechanics are NOT the Federation mechanics (at least not from recent history). I would not even look at that document unless you live in Louisiana and then realize that the mechanics they use are completely STUPID.

Hell, they have the CENTER hand the ball to the free thrower for the first FT and the center is ALWAYS opposite the table. What, is this 1993?
