LOL...is this guy for real?
As BktBallRef said, the same guy has been posting on the basketball forum over at McGriffs under the nom denet of "secondyear" for the last year or two. If you had ever read some of his posts over there, you would know whether he was real or not. That soccer post almost makes him look like a genius when compared to some of the things that he's written.
LOL I can't stand him, not to mention GL either... OIYE.

Boy, you guys are tough!
I try to straighten out a fellow official who has received poor information from his local interpreter and I get dumped on.

Silly me. I should have known.

PS for Junker

While we're talking about the NFHS website, does anyone know how to find your username and password? I posted there a few times, but can't remember my info. I pocked around the site a little bit but didn't see a feature to help you out. I guess I should spend a little more time on that board.
Go to:

There you will see:

Aw, Nevada, you know that we were just kidding and that we all have a deep and abiding respect for you and the game of soccer. After all, soccer is the official national game of France.

Which brings up another point however......

There has been a definitive study issued by the AMA that shows that persons who watch, play or officiate more than 3 soccer games a year slowly begin to morph into a Frenchman. That includes wimmen of the feminine persuasion too. The AMA has given this newly-identified malady the name "Padgett's Syndrome". The good news, though, is that the AMA has also issued a test that outlines the warning signs associated with this dastardly disease:
1) Have you started sprinkling cheese on your corn flakes?
2) When someone says "hello" to you, do you immediately throw both arms up in the air and say "I surrender"?
Take immediate action if any of the warning signs show up. Kick a football; shoot some baskets; play catch with a baseball(not a softball--that's for sissies and Larks).

Now....don't be silly.

I am laughing myself silly at how silly soccer officials are.

You need to go to your attic & make a sacrificial offering to your J Dallas Shirley monument to atone for your involvement in this foreign activity.
Soooo... If I get you right, you consider each and every soccer official silly only because one of them (or should I say, of us) lacks judgment and common sense?!
Sure, why not.

Now what?
Well... It's hopeless to argue any longer, then. You win.

JR - I believe you are suffering from a bad case of soccerphobia. You should see a doctor. BTW, you'd get your A$$ kicked in soccer

I looked at the dates and was amazed. I had not been on the NFHS soccer site in many months..and that was for only the 2nd or 3rd visit...That Sunglasses topic was a major thread last fall. I am too lazy to investigate, but I'd be willing to bet a pair of Mark's finest fishnets that the first interjection of the word 'sunglasses' in that thread was by the instigator of the inane thread several months ago. And silly me. Being a former HS soccer player, I commented. My thoughts then were the same as now. The coach has to be a real dork to have a kid on the team on the field wearing sunglasses. And whatever happened to 'eyeblack'?
