Operation Hardwood

Fellow Official US Army Colonel Kenny Clark, A-10 and Big East is spearheading an effort in the desert of Kuwait that brings Div 1 coaches over to coach post level players.

As part of the America Supports You Campaign, Operation Hardwood will consist of 8 NCAA coaches and sports personalities who will coach 8 13-member military teams in Kuwait 28-31 August on Camp Arifjan. COL Clark is leading the charge in training the officials, all of which are Soldiers serving in the Middle East. IAABO is working with him to get him current rule books and other training materials so that the officials up to speed regarding the current NCAA rules, coverages,etc. Wish Brother Referee the best as he attempts to bring a little taste of home to the hot desert.
