OK, so we all know what the new rule changes are, but when I look at my books from last year, the Officials Manual doesn't match the rulebook and casebook. That can only mean this year is the revision year. Now, the question is, what are they revising? Last time they came out at the same time as the rule changes because I used the new mechanics at camp. But this year I haven't heard anything about them.

Should I bother buying a new manual this year?

This manual will show the foul calling offical stays table side. Other than that, I don't know what other changes were made.

ref18,

Here in IL, we are provided (by the state) a rules book, case book, and officals manual. Just wondering, do you have to provide yourself with these books?

No, the association provides them for us at a cost of $30 for the set.

I'm gonna try and see if I can get through paying $20 instead :P

Probably won't work but worth a shot.
