I'm not making a call because I don't think a T is warranted for a player taking himself out of that play.

Ok, here is the deal. During a game, the player will shoot either a three or a two pointer. Usually it's when the player is shooting a three when this happens. The player shoots the shot and you clearly see that the defender did not make contact with the player and the player that shot the ball falls down. Usually it's what people call a flop. What is the best call to make in that situation??

Award him an Oscar for Best Dramatic Performance....

If he makes a habit of it, and it's obvious enough to sell, the rules say you can call the T for it.

First time its a no call,tell the player to get up, after that if its
really obvious I think I would T the player.
You need to put a stop to that kind of play
at some point.

If he keeps doing it, after the next time he comes down and hits the defender and falls, call a player control foul, watch how quickly that type of behavior stops.

If that stuff happens around the basket, you know the player that makes the loud noise as if he was hit by a bus and then "FLOPS" i give him a blocking foul and that is the end of it right then and there.
Out in 3 point land, i would let it go, unless you get heat over it or it looks like someone could get injured. Then deal with it quickly and sternly and when they see that tac not working they will change their game plan!
