I tried it and had problems. I kept tripping over the extension cord.

Every time my tongue touched it, I got an electric shock.

Electric whistles never seem to work out.

I'm fed up with all this racing,
This electric thing i'm chasing,
Dosen't have that certain something,
That a girl expects to hear,

He never whistles at me!
It's damaging my staus,
I don't think he can whistle at me!
He lacks the aparatus,

I used to carry a steam whistle, but the boiler got sooo hot in those warm gyms.

Brandan,

I'm guessing by the lack of serious responses nobody's used one before. Have you checked the thread that was posted a month or two ago about it?

I don't think you'll find anyone who has used it in the past and/or will do so in the near future.

It's what coaches try to switch with our regular whistles so they can shock us

And still, in all ignorance I ask, "What's an electric whistle?"

I may be wrong but i think he may be asking about the precision timing system which is normally used by NBA and major college confrences. The officials start the clock with a pack on their pants and the clock is stopped with the sound of a fox 40 whistle.

Nope, he's asking about something like the Dolphin, which was discussed here a few weeks ago. It emits a different tone, I think electronically. Somebody posted a link to it, but I can't find it right now.

And here's the link to the homepage of the company that makes the whistle: http://www.newitts.com/product/OS-22...ic_whistle.htm

And here is plea number 3,624 to Brad to please get the search function up again!!!
