Good luck. Family is always more important, although it's hard to separate that from officiating sometimes.

As M&M says, family is always more important. It can be a difficult balance, and if you're going to have to fall to one side or the other, family is definitely the side to hit. Check back in when you get a chance, and let us know when you're back in the stripes!

Stepping away from officiating would be a hard decision for me to make. But if forced to choose, family absolutely has to come first. You're making the right choice. Good luck with what you're facing. Hopefully for us you'll be back.

Exclamation God Bless

I really do not care what the reason you have to leave officiating, that is your decision. Officiating should always be a distant 4th on most people's lists of importance. If you have to go, I wish you the best. This is strictly your decision and do not allow anyone to tell you otherwise.

Peace

Good luck John. I certainly hope everything turns out well and you can return to the field/court in your area! Again, best of luck.
