I want to know what you guys call on free throws. We know that the rule says that you can't break the plane before it hits the rim. I see it all the time players lean in.

When do you call the lane violation?

What rule sez you can't break the plane by leaning in?

You can't break the plane with a foot until the ball touches the ring or backboard or the FT ends.

Whoops. Just saw that this was a double-post and BZ already gave the answer in the t'other one.
