Where's the popcorn .gif when you need it???

In seriousness, though, I think those three would be a good crew and could work together. (As long as they could get out of the locker room without arguing over what pants they'd be wearing that night! :p)

tjones1 Thu Jul 07, 2005 07:21pm

Tony
Chuck
JRut

I'll be the alternate and watch.

2nd crew:

Mick
Bob

That would be a very interesting game to watch. Only problem is, Billy would call out of his area all the time! :D

canuckrefguy Thu Jul 07, 2005 11:11pm

Post game:

VITALE: Oh yeah, I had charge on that one all the way, baby - he just wasn't there - big time offensive foul, baby !!!!

WALTON: Oh that was just terrible - TERRIBLE !!!!

PACKER: How could you have offense on that one? The guy was still moving !!!!

JRutledge Thu Jul 07, 2005 11:53pm

1. Mick
2. Chuck
3. Tony

I just want to see if everything I read is true. :D

Peace

Barb, Chuck, Tomegun (so I could legitimately compliment him on the baord)

and Mark Dexter at the scoretable.

I'd love to "just watch" Dan, mick and Tony.

But you guys are forgetting rockyroad. He's a very good ref, and a blast to work with. I can't put him on my list since I've worked with him before.

Also, if we could go back in time, I'd have Jurassic on my list before Chuck. I'd rather work with a dinosaur than a squirrel any day of the week!

Would they be arguing over what pants to wear, or rather what fishnets to wear?

I've worked with Rut before, has fun but very professional and gets it right.

I hope you took this thread to mean people with whom you haven't worked with previously.

Unfortunately, my scorekeeping/timing/shot clock(ing)/correcting major errors on live ESPN days are on a one-year hiatus (and just when the NCAA D-I tourney is going to be back in D.C.! ).

With my new job, however, I should be able to actually start reffing real basketball. :)

Thought I had mentioned it already, but here goes.

I did graduate in May, but didn't get into med school or grad school. As a result, I'm teaching at my alma mater, which should give me the opportunity to ref football and basketball this year. (Although, knowing my school, I'll be doing the clock for a few games this year.)
