Holy Cow, Adam, you can't just sneak in here and ask an innocent question like you've been around all this time. Where have you been, and how are you? Details, we want details!!

At the risk of coming across as narcissistic, I thought I should answer this in a separate thread.
I'm good. The lovely and gifted one is due to have our second child (first son) on August 8th, so we've been busy getting ready for that. We just moved, so my time has been severely restricted to packing and unpacking lately.
On top of all that, I'll be leaving soon for the Middle East to fulfill an oath I took once.
For security reasons, I can't really discuss dates or locations, but I don't think I'll see US soil in the month of August. I ask that you keep my wife in prayer (those of you who pray), as she's going to be going through a very trying time without me.

If you do have to miss the birth of your son that is unfortunate, but I can't think of anything which would keep you away that is more honorable and praiseworthy than what you will be doing.

I wish you and your family the best.

You & your family are in my prayers. God is with you all, every step of the way.

You have many people thinking of you; hope that will help in some small way while you're over there. I can't think of three more stressful things to do in life than having a child, moving, and going overseas. And, you're doing it all at once.

Other than that, anything else going on your life? :)

May God bless you and your family. We will keep all of you in our prayers. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service and that of your brothers and sisters in uniform around the globe.

If you can read this - thank a teacher
If you can read this in English - thank a soldier

"Ditto" to what drothamel said. I hope that all of us who will be at home wearing a different kind of uniform -- one that is not nearly so important as yours -- will do things here to make you proud of us while you're away! Come home safe and sound! RR
