If you look at the first slide, you'll see the "Class of 08" has got a ball with "07" on it. Obviously this particular team wasn't composed of math majors.

Oddly enough, there was a teacher at this school in the 50s and 60s whose name was Schmeckpepper. I don't remember his first name, but it very well could have been the same guy.

BTW - probably the most famous basketball player from this high school (not me - since I didn't play basketball in HS) is Jerry Colangelo. The most famous baseball player (not me - since I didn't play baseball in HS) is Jim Bouton.

FYI - I played football (sort of - I was a kicker) and tennis.

Actually, it's in Cook County. You know, the county where it's against the law to be a Republican.

This would be a much better post if the darn graphics would show up. Last time I had trouble, I got them to come up on a different page and then they'd post, but that's not working this time. It keeps saying that I'm not allowed to see that page, and that it's forbidden ... nah, maybe I don't want to see it after all...
