dblref 12 years. HS varsity (mostly girls - my choice) at the AAA level -- highest level in VA. Not sure how much longer I will be able to do this -- turned 62 yesterday.

stmaryrams Starting my 4th year Last year almost all JV High School. I do a Catholic league on weekends Grades 4-8. Just passed to Class 1 in Ohio so I can now work towards Varsity High School. I am scheduled for some Frosh JV double headers with a 3 whistle crew for this year.
ReadyToRef Finishing my fourth year. I have worked 4 years of high school. 1 year of JUCO, Division III, and Division II, all on the women's side. I also do Rec, YBOA, AAU, and MS.

Almost Always Right Originally posted by JRutledge Originally posted by zebraman This fall will be my ninth season of H.S. Been to state twice... reffed one state championship game. Z This just goes to show how different things are in other parts of the country. There is pretty much no way anyone would get to a state final once, let along two in an 8 year period. There are people around here that do not get a Regional assignment (first level or round of games) by their 8th year working high school basketball. Peace That is one of the things that I am most grateful for - I am in a part of the country where the opportunities are plentiful(for some people): I have 4 seasons of college(DII and JuCo - M/W) and next year will be my 10th season as an official. I have been fortunate enough to do 5 Regional finals and 4 state finals(including the large school Boys state final 2 years ago). I have a passion for officiating(as so many of us do) and I am so grateful that I have been able to accomplish the things that I have. AAR

ysong Zero year of "official" officiating experience at any levels combined. 1 year experience of learning and tuning my rule knowledge in this forum. Grateful for all the help I've got so far.
mplagrow I've been doing grade school, mostly 7th-8th grade, for about 12 years. I've done some high school here and there, but I have enjoyed a good career and reputation among the grade schools in our (Lutheran) circles, and have stuck pretty close to home. Green Bay Officials Association!
johnnyrao My sixth year on and off since I move a lot in the Army. Did my first year of Varsity this past season (boys and girls). I also worked recreation youth games and some men's rec leagues. My time does not permit anything higher right now, and, come to think of it, it barely allows me to do even the little I do; but I love it and will keep working whatever level they need me to work.
cloverdale starting my 4th year...90% jv boys/girls, 5% varsity and 5% junior high...some AAU and summer rec
SMEngmann About to begin my 4th season, 3rd varsity (boys and girls). Got a sectional tourney assignment last season.
