I worked 12 games (6 in a row Saturday, and 6 in row Sunday) of a girls AAU tournament this weekend at Keene State College in Keene, NH. There were 72 teams from several states. Many of us have had bad experiences at AAU tournaments, but other officials and I thought this was a good tournemant. The coaches and players were extraordinarily respectful. I heard several parents and coaches compliment the quality of the officiating. I thought I would give AAU a little positive "press". My legs are still a little bit sore, but I am told that the blisters on my feet will heal eventually.
