This question has nothing to do w/ officiating, but i still hope you guys can help.

do you know if all those advertised jumping excersies work?
i'm talking about JumpSoles, Air Alert II, and strength shoes

also, if yes, how well?

thanks!

They work because they make you lighter on the wallet.

Seriously, go to http://www.eteamz.com/basketball/boards and ask -- there are more coaches there than there are here. They'd have a better opinion on this than we officials.

Get someone to show you how to do squats & deadlifts.
I guarantee double your money back if you don't add
height to your jump after a few months of doing them,
even just once a week. But you must do them correctly.

I used to be a so-so 'dunker' in HS, and my freshman year of college I added about 3-4" to my vertical. Time in the weight room doing squats and crunches, and lots of 'em. Like Dan_ref says, though, do them correctly. (i.e. with a quality weight belt for you back and have a spotter)
