Does any one know how much does the AAU tournement pay to the referee? I know It may change from state to state but I would like to know more or less what the pay is.

It varies from tournament to tournament. We run a lot of AAU tournaments in this area. And the pay one weekend my be $30 a game and the the next weekend it's $22. It just depends on who organizes the event.

I got $35/game for a Girls Tourney two weeks ago. That is fairly common in this part of Mass. -- although I have been paid a bit less and a bit more.

The next 3-man crew I see at an AAU tourney will be my first.

We work 3-person for everything 15 and under age group and up here in Northern VA. They usually do a contract with the board and then we might see anywhere between $25-$35 per game.

No - that's when they use 3-Chuck crews, so the players and the refs are about the same height.

No, that's not what I'm telling you. See the website that I posted earlier and you'll see that we only do 10U through 18U. And yes, we only do 3-man.
