Saw this on the news at dinner. Wife said, "Well, at least it wasn't an official." I replied, "Don't even think of something like this." Unfortunately, you just never know when some "crazy" is going to snap. I have had a couple of really bad things happen at ballgames when I was officiating like a "Church League Softball Fistfight" and a JV player going crazy and attacking his coach. Neither one was any fun but haven't seen any weapons yet. Knock on wood.

They're out there and there's no rhyme to their reasoning.

Not to make light of this, but South Park on Wednesday had an episode about the dad that has to get drunk and in a fight at little league games. It was pretty funny. As far as the story goes, it makes you wonder what is wrong with people.
