Never had this sitch before but I guess it could happen.

A1 stands with a foot on the sideline. B1 attempts a pass to B2 but the pass is:

1) deflected (touched) by A1 (OOB violation);
2) grabbed by A1 (OOB violation);

Is the shot clock reset in either case?

I think not but I just want to be sure.

No reset in NCAA...

Defense does not have team control if player is OOB when control is gained.

I had #2 happen about six months ago in a 3-person game - and had to correct the shot clock.

A good reminder for non-calling officials to take a quick glance at the SC whenever the whistle goes.

No reset in Federation either. Cannot be a change of possession if defender has out of bounds status when he touches the ball.

That what I wanted to be sure of. Thanks to you two!

What Fed rule book do you get your shot clock info from?
