Isn't that a little far from DC for you???
Must be having a 'basketball Jones?"

It is "only" 3.5 hours or so. A short trip considering some of the DII games I had this past season and the tournament I flew to Vegas for a couple of weeks ago. The guy that schedules the Kingwood Classic said I could come out to work that tournament (Houston) but I have to fly back to Vegas for a friends retirement/birthday party. Man I hate that nice weather and the casinos in Vegas! :D

I'll never do the Boo Radley Tournament again. Someone accused me of stabbing a guy.

On a serious note, Boo Williams' team comes to play in an AAU tournament here at UVa every year. Those kids can be pretty impressive when they aren't showboating.

Easy to say after somebody else posts about it. . . All you could talk about was the "Ecdysiastic Emporium".

Considering I'm one of the few on this forum who has actually seen you, I think I'm a better judge of that. :p

Screw the whole, polyester/mesh debate. Let's all wear Seersucker like Atticus!

How was the tourney? Were there any conference supervisors there?

I had a great time! Its really a pleasure to work such high caliber games. I had teams from California, Utah, Tennesee, and Virginia. Had problems with only one coach who was down 15 points at the half. He coached in the second half and his team came back to win by 8.

The games were spread out over 6 or 8 sites in the area and I didn't get to any other sites and don't know enough of the conference supervisors to tell you if they were there.

You can read about it at http://www.dailypress.com/sports/dp-97191sy0apr11,0,3060302.story?coll=dp-sports-local

No supervisors there that I know of. The competition was OK but could have been better.
