Did anyone see the game changing call about 1:30? The was a hold called from the C, across the court. Comments?

was not in his primary...had to come across
the floor to signal the hold....

You sound like an announcer.
What I saw on TV didn't look like much, ...but "game changing"?
To that I say, "Ha!"

The "game changers" were the turnover by UT that led to the go ahead layup and their inability to compose themselves and score in the last 40 seconds, in spite of multiple opportunities.

A true choke job against a team that wanted it more.

Yeah even my wife, who I have well trained on commenting on officials said "that wasn't much of a foul!"

Another note, Mike Patrick is close to Billy Packer imo.

Strange call, bit I disagree that it changed the game. IMO the turning point of the game came when Tennessee roared to a 16 point lead and suddenly lost their intensity. Even though they still had the lead, Tennessee lost that game long before that play.

Sorry, but maybe game changer was a bad word to use, how about momentum changer? I think I would have either let the call go or made the call as soon as it happened. The play was definately out of his primary.

Did anyone see the game changing foul about 1:30? Unless the C made the call up or missed it entirely, I don't see why we should attribute a game changing call to anyone.

IREFU2,
I've been wrong often enough before, and this may be more of the same.
But, the replay I saw showed an early hinderance on C's side of the circle with and lighter, yet continual, "touching" as the green player tried to move toward the ball.

It is my understanding that Women's officials are instructed to "wait" on foul whistles for the purpose of seeing how the result of a play will be affected.

Postulating, since the grab happened early and continued (though with less force than the initial grab) all the way to the ball, the official blew the foul "later" because that official figgered the offensive player was sufficiently disadvantaged when she initially lost her quick "first step" due to the hold near the free throw line.

In 3 person mechanics(men or women) the C has to extend their coverage area more than the L and T. This play actually originated from the edge of C's primary.
I thought the official showed great patience with the whistle and saw the whole play.
