LEAD official signals other way after baskets (NCAA), why?
Subject should read: LEAD official, not trail...my bad.
After watching 11 games at the SEC Tournament and many games so far today (DirecTV March Madness Ticket is awesome), I have noticed that if Team A scores the LEAD official will point in the direction of Team B almost immediately. Why? Is this to reset the shot clock or what?
Also, I've noticed that it doesn't happen on every score (maybe it's just certain officials?).
