In a game I did today, A1 and A2 were both in the back-court. A1 thows A2 a pass, but A2 isn't paying attention and the ball bounces across the court. Now A1 sees this and goes after the ball, A2 got to it first. Now if A1 had gotten the ball would that be a legal play?

If A1 had already dribbled, the "pass recovery" would be a second dribble and a violation.

That's what I was looking for, I forgot to mention that A1 had ended his dribble.
