Question
Okay, I'm to tired to get my books & I think I may have blew this one. Had this happen tonight---A1 is on a spot throw in under the basket in her FC; the pass is blocked & deflected inbounds by B2; A1 enters the court and has one foot inbounds & the other foot in the air (from out of bounds) when she touches the ball. I called a violation on A1 for not having both feet established. Does a player have to have both feet established or just one? Thanks...

A1 had inbound status when she touched the ball and hence did not commit an out-of-bounds violation.

See casebook 4.35.2 situation (c)...Answers your question EXACTLY...Don't worry about missing the call, just highlight it in the book so you don't make that mistake again (that's what I do!). The most important thing is to take the time and effort to look up any plays you're unsure of and learn from them!

That only works for some people. My entire book is highlighted, so nothing sticks out.
