The basket would not count and A would get the ball OOB at the spot nearest the foul. If A was in the bonus, A would shoot at their own basket of course!
mopar60 I would say since it is not try (because a try has to be at your basket) it is a common foul, the basket counts and A inbounds at closest spot unless in bonus. How's that for a shot in the dark!
