After all these years - a first!

Monday night, I had to have a scorer removed because he was drunk! He was running the clock and my partner and I didn't realize his condition until about 90 seconds into the game when we noticed he hadn't posted any points and the clock was always running. We didn't notice it earlier because the guy didn't go to the table until the game was almost ready to start. My partner went to the table and later said he could smell the alcohol on the guy.

I went to the home coach and told him we had to make a change. He was surprised, also. He immediately removed the guy and told the guy to leave.

After the game, the coach came up to me and my partner and told us that someone saw the guy throw up twice in the parking lot as he was leaving.

I just hope he wasn't driving.
