I need a good laugh. Where's Mark Padgett this week? Flu like everyone else in town?

Rainmaker, in an effort to make you chuckle, I was officiating a end of season debacle of a HS girls game. Midway through 3rd period, 30 point game. My partner comes to me during TO. Keep in mind he's about 5'2" 270. He says" Supp don't even think about swithching, we are officially in rec league mode, and if I can get to the twinkies next to the Mom in the second row of the bleachers, I'm going to chow down right here on the floor." I had to wipe my eyes I was laughing so hard. You may have had to be there... I was and it was hilarious.

You need a laugh. Well every now and then I initiate a good one. I had a good partner for it though. I live in a town that has a TV channel that only appears on our local cable. This channel will do a game of the week during the football and basketball seasons. I was calling the JV game right before the big one on TV. The visitors were from a medium size town with a backwoods reputation 40 miles down the road. During the break between first and second quarter, we had some bleachers rearranged for the TV crew so we kept the players in the huddle a lot longer than usual. When they came out the visitors were going to get the ball so the kid who came over to get the ball ask me what was going on. I said "TV time out". He puts a puzzled look on his face and says, "What?" I continue, "Yea, TV is paying the bills tonight so if they want us to have a longer time out they they can do that." He then turns and says, "We don't have TV yet in our town, yet. So I wouldn't know about that."

Do they have baskets there, or do they still play with peach buckets?
