Seen this in a BV game 2 man crew friday night!
Situation, Team A inbounding under B's basket after a made shot, A1 has ball, A2 steps out of bounds on the other side of lane and A1 throws the ball to him (everyone knows the play) Question: While ball is in air going from A1 to A2 still out of bounds, B1 reaches over line and grabs ball from the air takes a dribble and shoots a layup...With no call by either official... Is this not a Technical for breaking the plane during a throw in???? I've seen the play a million times, but never has the defense ever tried to intercept the out of bounds pass from them!! :) see something new everyday

Yup, automatic technical by rule as soon as the legal end-line pass was touched. Sounds like the guys just plain and simple missed that one.
