I thought I was doing a game in Pleasantville last night. Two freshman girls games, and the home team won both by 30 or so. I'd joked to Juulie that I might have to ring someone up with a T to keep focussed. Problem was, I don't think ref18 could have called a T in that game. :)
Everyone did their job, even if they weren't good at it. A few questions from the coaches, but never anything even borderline. Tonight, another frosh girls, and pretty much the same thing. Adam |

Actually, what I really hate is going in loaded for sparrows and finding myself surrounded by bears!

Had one the other night where the clock broke in the first half with visitors down by about 20 already. Visiting coach said "I prefer not to have the scoreboard because I don't want anyone to see the score". No problems at all from anyone. I like close games but this was enjoyable to work since we did our jobs and the coaches, even the lsing coahc, coached their teams hard.

We had an alternate timing device but no alternate scoreboard. We talked to both coaches about it and they wanted to play on with an old clock at the scorers table and their scorekeepers keeping them posted on the score. We got the clock fixed at halftime so, unfortunately, the coach had to watch the home score continue to climb.
