Sometimes evaluators have good solid, logical reasons why they want a certain thing done. I was just wondering if he gave you some kind of an explanation. I'm certainly not above stealing good, solid logical procedures(that don't vary <b>that</b> much from the standard NFHS mechanics).

Well, I guess that's the advantage of being a bad kid and not always doing what I'm told unquestioningly. It often causes more trouble, but you definitely learn more if you ask. Life is more fun that way too! :)
