Exclamation

Team A bench is charged with a technical foul with 8 seconds remaining on the shot clock. In situation (A) Team A has control of the ball in their front court. In (B) team B has control of the ball in their front court.

When you put the ball back in play at the Point of Interruption, would you NOT reset the shot clock (8 seconds remaining) in both A and B?

If the T is on the defensive team, the shot clock is reset...if the T is on the team with the ball, then you do not reset the clock...

If the T is on the team with the ball, wouldn't the shot clock be reset for the simple sake that team B would be getting the ball after the free throws? We don't use shot clocks so I really don't know.

The shooting team doesn't get the ball with POI, necessarily. If the T is on the team with the ball, they get the ball back after the other team shoots.
