Did many of you see players wearing insulin pumps this year. I have had some soccer players and volleyball players wearing them, but haven't ever had any in basketball. The NFHS has ruled that they are perfectly legal, but most state associations never seem to advertise this infomration.

I actually saw a soccer ref tell a kid he had to take it off. I was coaching the opposing team and assured him and the parents that he could legally wear it, but the ref insisted he couldn't. The kid finally uhooked the leads and took it off. Can you imagine what the fall out might have been if that kid had gone down with a blood sugar problem in the game.

Just wondered if many of you had seen them in b'ball this year?

Haven't seen a single one.

I saw one last year. I haven't had that school this year, so I'm not sure if the player is still there. I've also seen a hearing aid or two that has a wire running down to a pack. Every one of these players had a letter from the OSAA.
