Did anybody catch the Providence-Villanova game last night? Villanova was bringing the ball up along the sideline being pressured by PC. The Villanova dribbler put one foot and the ball into the frontcourt and then brought the foot back to the backcourt. It didn't look like an over and back to me, but the announcers said "over and back". They then went to a TV timeout and when they returned Villanova took the ball out. The announcers did not comment that the previous play was NOT an over and back, but a timeout by Villanova. Did anybody else see this? Comments on whether this was over and back.....

A dribbler has not crossed into the front court until both feet and the ball have touched in the front court.

BITS nailed it. But remember the three-points apply when dribbling, which he was. If he would have stopped dribbling and had one foot in the froutcourt and one in the backcourt then lifted the one in the backcourt into the air and then put it back in the backcourt--that's a no no <img src="http://www.illinoishighschoolsports.com/ubb/graemlins/nono.gif">. Now, you've got over and back.

O/B or not>A1 inbounds ball to A2 who is in his F/C and A2 has the ball bounce off his hand with no control what so ever and it goes to As B/C, can A2 recover the fumble.
