Suppose a coach has two players on his bench that are not in the book for that particular game for reasons of injury or sickness. The game is going his way in a big way and wants to sub one of the players to give them some experience. He alerts the officials during a dead ball of his intentions and understands the team will be charged a T for the change in the book. Later he wants to sub the other player that is not listed. Will he then be charged another T. I thought the limit was 1 T per book change-no matter how mant changes were made.

Rule 3-2-2

After the 10-minute time limit has expired a team is charged a MAXIMUM of one technical foul regardless of how many infraction are committed.

For the penalty, see rule 10-1 art 2

This is a Team Technical charged toward the teams total foul count, not to any one player or coach.

I would make sure he makes any other possible additions at the time of first addition.

So the game would not have to stopped again when the coach decided to substitute the second player who was originally not in the book.

David, you can ask the coach to do that. He doesn't have to listen to you, though, and there ain't dicketyboo that you can do about it.

Amazing, I had BV game last night. Away team info was copied from their book using their last game. Problem was their last game was at home and two of their players have different numbers for home and away. When a foul was called on #31 we were told there was no #31 in the book. Called the T and asked the coach to check the book and make sure everything else was correct. He didn't! Later in the game a foul was called on #12. Again no #12 in book. Like JR said I couldn't do dicketyboo about it.
