I noticed tonight they are doing it without lanyards. Or, it might just be that one guy who called the 6 t's.

Quite a few NBA officials don't use a lanyard.

I was just saying because I know a while back someone was asking about it using no lanyard a while back.

The only thing I noticed in that game was that Shaq was wearing a white T-shirt under his game jersey. First of all, NBA rules don't allow t-shirts. Second of all, even if they did, why wouldn't he have to wear a black t-shirt under his black game jersey?!?!

Dont want to bring up the argument about rules again, but (1) he is Shaq, and (2) It is the NBA :-)

I did read (I think on here) that they are starting to call travel. Just what I heard/read. Wonder how long this will last. It's probably a normal release from any pro official office (NHL; although the NHL has a lot like this) in which a statement released to officials, they call it strong for about 2 weeks and then it fades out.

Chuck,
I wonder if the NBA just fines players for not having "proper equipment"...
kind of like the NFL when they fined some players $5000 for improper socks.

They can participate...but it'll cost um'.

Interesting thought, Rook. But if that were the case, I wonder why Ewing never wore the t-shirt as a pro. He always wore one at Georgetown, but never in the NBA. Seems like he could've afforded it.
