Fox Sports top 10 officiating blunders only had one basketball blunder, that 1972 Russia-USA gold medal game where they put time back on the clock and the Russians went on to win.

The NFL had about 4 of the top 10 blunders. They looked bad. But then again, they've got 22 guys to watch.

Annnnnnnnd their games are seen by about 10 million people on an average weekend, more in the playoffs. So of course any mistakes they make are bigger.

Also, someone who makes a mistake in one of 1,296 National League games over the course of a season will see it blow over eventually. Ask Don Denkinger if it blows over if it happens in the World Series.

Is there a link to this anywhere? Or was it just on TV?

I'd think the fifth down in Missouri-Colorado is probably the biggest one of all time

The USA/Russia game they put time back on the clock twice if memory serves.
