In an earlier post, you stated you were working the Parkrose girls game last night. When I looked in the newspaper this morning, I saw the halftime score was an exciting 15-10. My question is - how did you stay awake?

By wussing out of the game. With an hour to go till tip time, I was caught in Hillsboro (which for you non-webfoots is about 30 miles of stop and go freeway from Parkrose!) and no chance of making it. Fortunately, I had a good excuse having to do with my son's rather fragile health, and so Howard got someone else. Of all the games I might have been forced to sacrifice to our medical concerns, this was the least painful!. Now if we have this problem next week, it's my husband that goes to the hospital, since I WILL NOT miss those games unless Mason actually...

I don't even want to finish that sentence...

Well, (modest cough) I don't want to brag...

But since you asked, I've got two games at the LO Tourney (A bracket), one on Monday and one on Thursday (8th place trophy). And two at Canby on Tuesday. I love these holiday tournaments. Great reason to get out of the house away from the bored kids...
