Woo hoo!
Got a call from my assignor tonight. He needs a varsity sub for tomorrow night at a small school just outside the metro area.
Oddly enough, my first varsity games (G/B dh) will be at the school I played for in hs (some time back, now).

Don't be surprised to see some differences since you played there. They probably took the cage down and the basketballs don't have laces anymore. ;)

Sounds like it's your time to shine. Best of luck, and let us know how it went.

I'd keep that little nugget to yourself tomorrow. You don't want anyone complaining about a conflict of interest.

Good luck.

Git to it! :)

:D
Yeah, I think the biggest change will be that the last time I saw them play a girls' game, there were six players on the floor for each team. :)

Don't worry, I hadn't planned on telling them it's my first varsity game.

I was talking about reffing your alma mater, but I'd keep that it's my first varsity game to myself too.:D

Congrats! What game do you have? I'll check the boxscores tomorrow to see if it looked like a fun night.

Good luck! You'll be fine. As said, let us know how things come out! I am off in 10 minutes to a big game against two V Girls teams that don't like each other! Should be a good game and hopefully a clean one! Time will tell. I'll post how everything went when I get home. Everyone who's working tonight... have a good one!!!!! :)
