My daily over and back question...
Team A has possesion in its frontcourt, when A1 passes backwards to A2 who jumps from the backcourt, catches the ball mid-air, and lands in the frontcourt. Over and back, correct? (as A2 is still considered to be in backcourt as that was the last location that he touched). |
Yep, that is a test question, since A2 alights from the backcourt to the frontcourt, he still has back court status. Tweet, B teams ball going the other way.

Correct. As the saying goes: You are where you were 'til you get where you're going.

File this question under, "who gave this idiot a keyboard?":
If the violation occurs as soon as the A2 touches the ball, reguardless of where he lands, where is the ball inbound at? a.) The new frontcourt where A2's floor status was at the time of the violation b.) The new backcourt where A2 caught the ball right before landing? |
