Is it possible to call a technical fould while the ball is live or is it only called during a dead ball. Or is it just up to your judgement whether the foul was severe enough to call a technical or flagrant foul. Such as undercutting someone going to the basket? I personally would call a flagrant fould and eject that person from the game. Is that right?

Any player hanging on the rim. |
There is also one unsporting technical foul due to contact that I know of.
Try to guess what it is for yourself first, then check 3.3.6 Sit B part (d). |

Mark: Your contact with an offical makes two situations where contact during a live ball is a techncial foul. Of course I thind that NevadaRef means contact between two players. MTD, Sr. |

Yeah - I checked the case book right after I posted. Shoulda known from the numbering. Good pick-up by NevadaRef. |
I only point this out because of #22 on the Part II exam this year, which I am sure that the answer key lists as false.
It was also on the test a couple of years ago and was false then too. Yet another example of understanding the intent of the test writer. And yes, I meant contact between two players. |
