New official here.

Player not recorded in book after game has started.

Is the penalty:

Team technical which opposing team is awarded 2 ft's and who gets possession?

It's a team technical foul. Ask the coach if there are any others since he can add any others at that time without further penalty.

Opps - Forgot to add that the team shooting the free throws gets the ball at the division line opposite the table.

Actually, it's not a violation, it's a team technical. No, the coach has already bought the right to make changes to the book. Don't penalize him again. I normally tell the bookeeper to make any changes necessary for that team and leave it at that.

Actually, there is no need to ask the coach, since further changes may now be made without penalty FOR THE REST OF THE GAME, not just "at that time."
