A1 is attempting a shot, it is tipped on the way up by B1. In my opinion, the ball still has a chance to go in. On the way down, B2 slaps the ball away. I call goal tending.

Coach thinks that since it was tipped, the shot is over. No time to explain the play.

Look at the definition for a try. Look at when a try ends.

Look yourself in the mirror and say "good call".

Who cares what the coach thinks? You got the play right. It is his job to learn some rules, not your's to explain every play to him.
