Games played with no coaches and no officials - streetball. I wonder if that's what Naismith envisioned. ๐ฎ [Edited by PGCougar on Oct 20th, 2004 at 03:59 PM]

Any ball that went oob was to be put in play by the first player who could get to it. Even if it went up into the balcony at the fieldhouse where they played. Can you imagine the mayhem? ๐

ChrisSportsFan He must have said that because teams were incorporating a coach. Can you just imagine how it sounded when they complained back then? *rather then "that's a foul", might hear "hit em harder". *rather then "get him off our back", might hear 'step on his back". *rather then "he stepped out of bounds", might hear "run around that bench, do what you gotta do to get open".
